I was fortunate to grow up in rural America. Growing up in the wilds taught me about isolation and also taught me that I was totally okay being alone for long periods of time. So when I get to do assignments in rural places it always reminds me of my childhood. I find most rural folks to be kind, open and generous but sometimes make me prove my "country worth" before becoming close.
